We visited our father as a surprise
You will always feel great knowing that you have done something that makes your parents proud of you. If you want to make your parents proud, there are a few things you can work on, including pushing yourself to do new things and being polite and courteous all the time. Pay attention to working hard and giving it your all as well. There are times when your loved ones, pals, and even strangers need a compassionate ear. Pay attention to anyone who discusses their problems or stories with you. Avoid interjecting, dozing off, or trying to make the conversation about you. If someone asks for advice, wait until they have completely described their problem before offering any advice. Sometimes, your parents might use a decent listener as well. Use your body language to show that you are paying attention. Keep your eyes open, tilt your head in agreement, and nod. Once you’ve listened, you’ll find that people don’t always want you to speak up or give them advice. All they need from you is someone to bounce ideas off of. Look for ways to give back to your community. Help a cause that is dear to your heart by volunteering some of your free time. You can also make small efforts each day to help your family, friends, and even total strangers. Search online for volunteer opportunities. You decide; it could be an elderly residence, a museum, or an animal sanctuary. If you still live with your parents, you might make use of the extra time by doing things around the house.
