All Ethiopians must support the Ethiopian project. A family cannot remain divided, much less a nation. The duty of the current generation is to ensure that the nation that its valiant forefathers maintained through valiant deeds that won praise from all throughout the world continues to exist.
If Ethiopia is found wanting in elevating its ancestors’ exemplary qualities—patriotism, foresight, loyalty, solidarity, forgiveness, civility, and accommodating differences for the greater good—to new heights and inadvertently aiding its enemies in achieving their nefarious goals, history will hold it in high regard.
This wonderful country has for too long been associated with deprivation, hunger, violence, and regressive ness. Furthermore, despots have subjected its people to unspeakable suffering.
