The Amazing Love That Will Last Forever

1st Corinthians 13, a beautiful book for everlasting love, contains one of the best definitions of love.
It reads, “Love is gentle and patient. It doesn’t have any enmity, doesn’t boast, and isn’t arrogant.
It does not defame others, is not conceited, is not quickly enraged, and does not keep track of wrongdoings. Who wouldn’t want such a love?

These qualities characterize your relationship when you fall in love with someone. Even when they cross a line, you are kind to the individual and patient with them from the bottom of your heart. You never harbor ill will toward them. You are not envious of others or arrogant of yourself. Instead of concentrating on having your own wants satisfied, you put your attention on meeting those of the other person.

You adore them completely and without conditions. True love also entails being ready to overlook their mistakes and showing displeasure when they suffer harm. Your heart is hurting along with theirs while they are in pain. You have faith in them and are optimistic about your relationship. But most significantly, love endures forever, according to these verses.

That implies that there is a lifelong love when these other character traits are present. When your lover is expressing their unending love for you, you may also feel it. You can experience profound love when you realize that your partner is a rock foundation and a north star when you’re lost, going beyond simply feeling tolerated or appreciated.

Alternately, you can see how they are consistently extending their love to you despite the fact that you are aware of your lack of particularly lovable behavior. You can recognize it in their voice and in the way they speak to you and act toward you.
