The advantage of drinking a lemon-olive oil combo

Olive oil and lemon juice are common ingredients in many cuisines, especially those from the Mediterranean and the Levant. Some claim that the mixture of olive oil and lemon juice can treat a wide range of conditions, including gallstones, joint pain, and early aging. Additionally, studies have examined the distinct nutritional benefits of lemon juice and olive oil. Olive oil is made by, among other methods, applying centrifugal force and pressure on ripe olive fruits. Extra-virgin olive oil is regarded as the best type. Another enticing quality of olive oil is its huge concentration of polyphenols, which are organic compounds. These are potent antioxidants that protect your body from oxidative stress by removing harmful elements known as free radicals. The acidic liquid obtained by pressing lemons is known as lemon juice. The Rutaceae plant family includes citrus fruits like lemon, which have their origins in the Mediterranean. Lemon juice is loaded with antioxidants and vitamin C. Lemons also include flavonoids, which are strong antioxidants and anti-inflammatory substances. Some claim that combining lemon juice and olive oil in a drink is healthy. They are supposedly used to promote weight reduction, treat and prevent gallstones, and perform cleanses and detoxes. Many recipes can be found online that use lemon juice, olive oil, or a combination of the two to purge and detoxify the body. Detoxes and cleanses are said to get rid of toxins and waste that have built up in your body over time.
The question of whether lemon juice and olive oil can help with detoxification or cleansing, however, does not appear to have received much attention.
