I’ve been married to my wife for about 15 years, and we’ve been together for almost 20. Given his aptitude for and intelligence in the field of computer technology, he has tried to become wealthy (and could be), but it has damaged his soul. He was pretending to be someone he is not during the most difficult period of our marriages. We almost divorced during the three years he worked as a programmer. Additionally, it was the only time in our marriage that he was paid well. He wasn’t happy enough to spend any of it, though, and we frequently argued about money.
