Kaldi’s Coffee Owner Tsedey

Asrat Tseday

Tseday Asrat was born on September 25, 1975, to Aserat Gebre and Martha Abebe, the second daughter of a middle-class family with four children. She is the creator and managing director of Kladis Coffee. For elementary and high school, she attended Cathedral Catholic School and Tikur Anbessa, respectively. began modeling at age 17.

She performed modeling work for numerous companies, including Coca-Cola, Philips, Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE), and others. She started a boutique when she was 24 years old. Tseday discovered her love in 2004 when she opened the first Kaldis Coffee location by the Edna mall. Tseday is one of Ethiopia’s top businesspeople and an inspiration to many women.

Tseday has been unstoppable for 21 years because a sincere passion is an unstoppable force. Currently, Kaldis has 32 branches. She also oversees the Loni Agro Industry and the Gusto restaurant group. Tsedey is a married mother of four kids.
