In other words, due to the cellular level of our understanding of one another, we will never truly understand our sons. That can occasionally lead to some interesting situations! Let’s be honest: More often than moms and sons, mothers and daughters fight. Conflicts are unavoidable when two people are so startlingly similar to one another. However, the great thing about those disagreements is that they just strengthen our bonds with our daughters. My daughter and I have developed into so much more than just a mother and daughter after negotiating the challenging adolescent years. We get closer. Yes, there is more. It’s really rather nice that we women get to simultaneously play two quite different roles. That could be a part of the mother and daughter’s ardent affection for one another. We are a single entity.
