Biruktawit, an Ethiopian actress, hosts the ‘Yeater Wof Atesmash’ program. One of our Ethiopian traditions is to inquire about and visit a pregnant mother. It gives advice to pregnant ladies. “Say it, drink it… Oh, don’t get cold, walk around, and so on.”
When her delivery comes close, her friends and neighbors would make porridge and rice grains for her. Grain of all kinds is sifted while chanting. In general, she is about to bring a lovely human child into the world, and her friends and relatives, in addition to her mother and father, are overjoyed. God blesses, and everyone looks after the pregnant woman because a child is on the way. Whoever is capable will fulfill her love.
