In total, more than 25,000 people, including youth and Chandigarh residents, filled the air with patriotic fervor. Satnam Singh Sandhu, Dharam Pal, Advisor to the Administrator, Chandigarh UT; Vinay Pra The goal of the event was to support the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign that Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi had envisioned as a part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to commemorate the country’s 75 years of independence and elevate it to a global level through this world record. The event will prove to be a significant milestone in reaching the Government of India’s goal of raising the tricolor on 20 crore homes, in addition to sparking the spirit of patriotism and nationalism among the people of our magnificent nation. More than 25,000 people gathered at the Chandigarh Cricket stadium, where more than 5885 young boys and girls formed the World’s Largest Human Image of a Waving National Flag, setting a new Guinness World Record while the crowd cheered and chanted loudly. The patriotic fervor and zest were evident in the air. The flag formation included the students, Banwarilal Purohit, Smt. Meenakshi Lekhi, S. Satnam Singh Sandhu, Dharam Pal, and other dignitaries.
